With the rapid development of modern society, education, which is the lever ofpromoting the development of our society, should also keep pace with the age. In thispaper, taking the No.3middle school of YanJin and the New Oriental traing School asthe research object. General secondary schools emphasize Foundation, schools focuson training characteristics. This thesis tries to compare two types of schools in termsof school profiles, Chinese teaching concept, teaching model, students’ structure andsituation, typical cases, and Chinese education characteristics in a way to expert thatpublic schools’ teachers can involve themselves into training schools, learn from eachother, innovate the concepts of Chinese language teaching and model, cultivatestudents’ Chinese language learning awareness practically and master the learningmethods of Chinese language.Firstly, the comparison of two kinds of schools’ general situation. the No.3middle school culture as a whole is weak. There were three main reasons: limited bylocal economic conditions, the hardware cannot be implemented; teacher’s specialityquality weak; external environment is not good. But, New oriental traing schoolcapital rich and has a dedicated Department of cultural studies, school of culturewithin the school and outside the school spread a vast.Second, the comparison of Chinese teaching. The No.3middle school’teachersused to mentoring and teaching mode, starting from the moral education in basiclanguage training.But New Oriental School of teachers does not focus on teachingmode of study, but seriously the teaching feature of quality-oriented education andexamination-oriented education are combined on the classroom.Thirdly, the comprison of students’ structure and situation, most of the learners’of No.3middle school come from towns or villages. They grow up in a complexfamily background, hold the limited view. But they always make every effort to studyhard. However, students in New Oriental Training school are from cities and theyhave broad field of vision. Some of them are willing to school to widen their knowledge to improve their own learning achievement. Student learning objectivesare not the same, but when they live the school,they have similar ideas—they are aredeeply involved and influenced by the culture and teaching styly of training school.Finallhy, the comprison of two typies of schools’ characteristics of Chineselanguage teaching and typical cases. After comprison, we can easily find that both ofschools have its own advantages: public school pay much more attention to basicslearners’; Schools focus on training characteristics. But they all want to improvelanguage teaching, make a good language teacher.
