Under the influences of the market economy, people’s views on family andmarriage have tremendously changed and the divorce rates have been soaring, givingrise to the increasing number of one-parent families. The phenomenon of theone-parent families inevitably leads to children’s emotional and psychologicalproblems. It also triggers the low quality of life of the single parent and the growth ofthe children. The worrying issue arouses the widespread concern of the entiresociety. The research focused on the children of the one-parent families, elaboratingon the cultivation of habits, sound character, the sense of responsibility, perseverance,and the acquisition of knowledge. The research aims to set up a “task-driven” one-parent teaching system. The paper includes: the “task-driven” one parent teachingmechanism and implementation; the first round feasibility studies; the second roundof feasibility studies; the reflection on the research conclusions.Conclusions: a. Featuring the “planning, implementation, interference,evaluation”, the “task-driven” one-parent teaching system can be a scientific guide tofamily education.b. The “task-driven” one-parent teaching systems widely applicable,largely due to its feasibility, effectiveness, and practicality.
