In 21 st century, the economic globalization and the information age has arrived, the requirements of society on education have undergone a profound change, and this change is bound to propose more requirements on the subject and profession structure of secondary vocational education. In recent years, the industrial structure of Heilongjiang Province has been optimized and upgraded, and the economic growth mode is changing from labor-intensive to capital-intensive and knowledge-intensive, putting forward new objectives for economic development. The setting of subjects and professions of secondary vocational schools should be constantly adjusted so as to adapt to the industrial structure of the province and the development of regional economy. Outline of medium and long-term education and development planning of Heilongjiang Province(2010 to 2020) proposes new requirements and objectives on the development of secondary vocational education of our Province. Study the actual situation of the setting of subjects and professions of secondary vocational schools in Heilongjiang Province, discovering the existing problems, as well as putting forward some countermeasures and suggestions, so as to provide resources for the structural adjustment of secondary vocational education in our province.This paper is based on the research foundation of vocational education theory, regional development theory, the relationship between education and economy theory, educational structure theory, industry development theory, and it carries out an in-depth analysis of the subject and profession structure of secondary vocational education of Heilongjiang Province by using the methods of qualitative research and quantitative research. First of all, it analyzes the change regulation of the historical development of subject and profession structure of secondary vocational education of Heilongjiang Province. Secondly, it analyzes the present situation of subject and profession structure of secondary vocational education of Heilongjiang Province. It firstly conducts an adaptability analysis of the setting situation of subject and profession with the three big industries of Heilongjiang Province, and then it carries out an analysis of the adaptability of the regional economic services of Heilongjiang Province, thereby obtaining the problems existing in the subject and profession structure, layout, and profession settings of secondary vocational education of our province, identifying the causes, and based on this research, it also explores and proposes effective countermeasures for adjusting the subject and profession structure of secondary vocational education of Heilongjiang Province.
