Regional vocational education plays an important role in promoting regional economic development and promoting regional industrial transformation and upgrading. As the foundation of vocational education, secondary vocational education is bearing the weight of the responsibility of cultivating regional industry developing skilled talents.Researching whether the regional secondary vocational education development and regional industrial economic development is compatible, how to position the development of secondary vocational education better and how to promoting the regional secondary vocational education and regional industrial development better is the significance of this study.Based on the actual problems, this study combines the current situation of Chinese industrial economic development and the problems faced by the development of secondary vocational education, taking the western part of Guangdong as a research example, the statistical analysis model such as correlation analysis, factor analysis and level difference comparison method is combined with time series analysis.Using these analysis to explore whether regional secondary vocational education is compatible with industrial development. At last, based on this argument,it proposes some suggestions for future secondary vocational education and even regional development.Taking the western part of Guangdong as a research example, the first step is to establish a regional secondary vocational education development index system and an industrial development index system after reading relevant literature, taking into account the imbalance of regional development, and the index values are established by the ratio of the total population of the region. The second step is to analyze the correlation between the indicators in the two indicator systems to determine the correlation between the indicators. The third step is to analyze the factors of the regional secondary vocational education development index system and the industrial development index system. It is concluded that the average factor scores and ranking order of 2015-2017 and prefecture-level in 21 cities in Guangdong Province. The fourth step is to analyze the rank difference of the regional secondary vocational education ranking order and the industrial development ranking order, and obtain the grade difference, and then analyze whether the secondary vocational education in the region is compatible with the industrial development according to the grade difference range. In the fifth step,to verify the analysis results, the regional totals in the index values are replaced by two-year average,three-year averages, and averages in the previous three years of total population of the region, and the results of the rank difference are the same as the first calculation results. That is mean the analysis results is reliable. In the above analysis results, selected the analysis objects in western Guangdong to further exploration. The research results are “comparable” in the regional secondary vocational education and industrial development is Zhanjiang City in western Guangdong.Maoming City and Yangjiang City are “very unsuitable”;among them, the vocational education ranks are ranked high, and the industrial development ranks low is Zhanjiang City. The vocational education ranks are lower, and ranks of industrial development higher are Maoming City and Yangjiang City.According to the established index system, the reasons for this result are analyzed, and according to the results of factor analysis, corresponding countermeasures for the development of future secondary vocational education in three cities in western Guangdong are proposed. The first is to make clear the positioning of secondary vocational education in western Guangdong as the development of medium and high-level technical talents to promote the regional industrial development, and secondly is to scientifically evaluate all aspects of the development of secondary vocational education in western Guangdong, and propose targeted strategies for the existing problems. In addition,in the analysis results,it is noted that Shenzhen is listed as a “very unsuitable” city.According to the characteristics of secondary vocational education and industrial development in Shenzhen, combined with the relevant theoretical basis of the second chapter of this article, the first-ranking Clarke theorem,Shenzhen City The industrial development has reached a certain height, and it is necessary to have more advanced talents than secondary vocational education talents.Based on this,Shenzhen's secondary vocational education "backward" its industrial development is a reasonable "very uncomfortable" for the development of Shenzhen.Based on the above research results, the industrial development in western Guangdong is in need of technical talents above the middle level, and the driving force of human capital brought by secondary vocational education for industrial development in the region is undeniable. In the future development, the secondary vocational education in western Guangdong,we will grasp the development orientation, and make use of the unique natural resources and superior geographical position of the western part of Guangdong, and the conditions of the people and the land will ensure the smooth transformation and upgrading of the industry in western Guangdong. The survey results in western Guangdong also show that there are many similar areas in China: they have rich natural resources and geographical advantages, and are adjacent to fast-growing cities, but regions with unsatisfactory economic and industrial development. In further research the exploration of the relationship between secondary vocational education and industrial development in similar regions, with a view to enriching the sample research results in western Guangdong to promote region secondary vocational education and industrial development.
