Employment is the base ofpeople’s livelihood, the basic guarantee and premise for billions ofpeopleto improve their life. It is relative with the stability of the revolution of our country, the great blueprint ofbuilding a comprehensive well-off society, the long-lasting stable society and harmonious society of socialism. It is an important economic issue as well as a political issue of great proportions. As the main force in the new Chinese normal job market, the undergraduates’employment difficulty has drawn great attention of the experts from various fields. The employment difficulty of the graduates is an apparent reflect of the unbalance between the transformation of the society and the highly increase of the economy of China, the basic cause of which is the large gap between the employ ability of the graduates and the requirements ofthe employers, that is why there isagreataiployment-gap, that the graduates have no job while the employers have no one to use Under this drcuiTistances,to meet the requirements of the society,the current study, take BUCM as an example, has analyzed the matching status of the employ ability of the graduates with the social needs through questionnaire survey to the graduates ard the empfoyeis.Accondrng to the conclusions and the interviews of the teachers we have provided constructive advices which could improve the employ ability of the graduates, the work of universities and colleges and the recruitment of enterprises.According to documents, and relative studies proposed by Ministry of Education in China Liberal Art and Social Sciences Foundation Project, ILO, ACER, this study concluded an index system of the employ ability of graduates and design the Survey of graduates’ employ ability and the social needs ofBUCM (for graduates) and the Survey of graduates’ employ ability and the social needs of BUCM (for employers).519 graduate,250 employers and 3 teachers major in employment have been included. We used the SPSS17.0 to do the data analysis. Through descriptive statistics and chi square, we fully understand the self-consciousness of the employ ability of the graduates of our school. We studied the matching status of the employ ability of our graduates with the social needs through matching pattern and the quadrantal diagram research. According to the interviews we proposed the suggestions about how to improve the marching status between the employ ability of the graduates of our school and the social needs from various aspects.We have had four following conclusions according to the analysis:(1) The graduates knows little of the employersThe graduates knows little of the abilities that emphasized by 1he employers, weighted mean value of which is 3.00 which equals 60 of hundred mark system. Apart from fundamental skills, the weighted mean value of all the other employ ability indexes are between 1.667 and 3.031, which means their awareness is in middle level(2) The rudiments of the graduates match well with the needs of employers, while the developing ability doesn’tMost of the employers consider that graduates from our school have high level of rudiments but low level of promoting and developing abilities. The spactical skills of four graduates math well with the needs of employers while the abilities of innovations and ideation, physical quality and anti-stress ability do not match well.(3) The employers do not feel well satisfied with the ability of the graduates who are not major in medicine.65.6%of the employer interviewed considered that the ability of graduates form the department of Traditional Chinese Medicine could meet their demands while only 14.8% of them considered graduates form the department of English and Law could meet their demands.652% and 61.2% of them were not satisfied with our graduates from the departments of nursing and management(4) There are differences between the ability of graduates and the needs of employers.Overall, the abilities of innovation、information management、ideation、anti-stress and physical condition of our graduates match badly with the requirements of the employers. Form the prospect of gender, the information management ability of male and physical condition of female graduates matches badly with the needs of employers. Considering firm the academic qualification aspect, the physical condition of graduates、7-year-progrom undergraduates and undergraduates, the skill of computer foreign language and the ability of independent learning of junior college graduates matches badly with the iequirements of employers. The ability ofusingcornputer foreign language of graduates with doctor’s degree match worse with the needs of employers compared with other students. Accoiding to our analyze, those graduated from Traditional Chinese Medicine should improve their ability of innovation and role-transformation, while those graduated from the department of Chines herb should improve their abilities of innovation and ideation. The graduates from acupuncture and moxibustion and massage should improve their abilities of physical condition and motion-control. The graduates from the department of management should improve their abilities of decision-making and information management The students major in nursing should improve their ability of social communication while the students from English and Law departments should improve their abilities of social communication, interpersonal communication and team working.After relative discussion and according the interview, we proposed the following suggestion from the aspects of self-development of graduates, the education work of universities and the requirements of employers:(1) For the graduates:One should fully underst and his advantages and disadvantages and have excellent mental and physical condition. One should have the will to gain development in their career and have right attitude toward job-hunting. One should have the ability to propose questions and to solve problems and be creative. One should practice more and improve his comprehensive quality. One should be confident and improve his self-promotion ability.(2) For the universities:Should clarify the goal of cultivation and adjust the mode of education according to the requirements of market Should introduce the MOOC and improve the career planning education for the graduates. Should enhance the innovation education and have more communication with the employers. Should further encourage the graduates to set up their own business.(3) For the employers:To cooperate with the universities to have more "customized" talents. To help the graduates to realize their own dream according to the talent-cultivation program of the universities.
