Pilates as an emerging sport was introduced into our country, have a lot of research. But there are few studies from the perspective of Pilates exercise on middle-aged women physical and mental health. Through this study, further demonstration of Pilates exercise on middle-aged women physical and mental health, cultivate the middle-aged women of Pilates exercise interest and provide theoretical basis for rich middle-aged women sports activity form.This article uses the literature material method, experimental method, questionnaire and mathematical statistics research methods, such as moved to fitness club of 36-45 middle-aged women comprehensive experiments, these women live in Qiangang community, Qian’an city of Hebei Province. Statistics the basic physical condition of these women before experiment, after 18 weeks of exercise, Statistics their physical again.Through the research to obtain the following conclusions and recommendations:From the experimental results, Pilates can promote the harmonious development of body and mind. Pilates exercise on middle-aged women health has a positive impact, middle-aged women body weight, chest circumference, waist circumference, body flexibility and balance ability increased significantly; At the same time, Pilates exercise is also an effective way to promote the middle-aged women’s mental health, the fast rhythm of life now in the society, help to alleviate the stress of the middle-aged women, cultivate the self-confidence, have positive effect on emotion and will.In order to better promote the appeal of the middle-aged women to participate in Pilates exercise, let more people know Pilates, should build multivariate Pilates talent and resources sharing mechanism, should strengthen the construction of the club’s base, on training plans, training should be arranged on a regular basis, quantitative steps and sit-ups and action coordination and flexibility of practice, in order to promote the development of physical coordination and flexibility, and strengthen the power of practice, overall coordination of the development of middle-aged women exercise ability; Pay attention to taste at the same time, should adopt a flexible manner, method and means, cultivate middle-aged women participate in Pilates exercise interest, cultivate lifelong sports consciousness, make the Pilates sport into the daily life.
