Evaluation is an indispensable part in the teaching process. It plays a very important role in the promotion of teaching and studying. In the field of evaluation, there are varieties of evaluation method. Summative assessment is still widely used in the ideological and moral curriculum. It can be more objective and fair on evaluating the students’ learning and performance. With the deepening of the curriculum reform, the summative assessment has changed. It has become a combination of summative assessment and evaluation process. Ideological and moral curriculum has special subject character. It pays more attention to the cultivation of the students’ emotional values. But there are still some week points in the final papers and the high school entrance examination papers. The author of this article has investigated students, interviewed teachers and studied the papers. The article tries to improve the situation existing in the summative assessment of the ideological moral discipline through constant exploration and practice, and then make the moral curriculum more effective, promote the development of the students’ moral character and good behavior habits.The dissertation can be divided into five parts. Prolegomenon:Raising the problems and explaining the significance of the study. It expounds the research situation and the new views in this dissertation. The first chapter: it introduced the summative assessment of moral education. The second chapter: The present situation of the summative assessment and the analysis of influencing factors. The third chapter: The analysis of the Senior high school entrance examination papers in the east of Heilongjiang Province(2010-2012). The fourth chapter: The tactics of how to improve the summative assessment. The analysis is divided into three aspects: The teachers’ view, the students’ view and better papers. The last part: The conclusion of the whole dissertation.
