Nowadays, senior school curriculum reform and College Entrance Examination system reform (CEE reform) are two hot topics of education reform. As the implementation of new curriculum reform step by step and the debuts of CEE plans one after another, the phenomenon that just one test decides one's whole life is really wanted to change, the trend for CEE reform has become more and more popular. Therefore, how to seek for a pluralistic reform of CEE in line with the idea of new curriculum is very important. This paper conducts the research on the background of new curriculum reform, taking Hunan province as an individual case, centering the topic of"pluralistic reform of CEE", by using a few research methods such as literature investigation, questionnaire survey and interview, investigation. At first, the relationship between the new curriculum reform and CEE reform is dissertated. Then, analyzing the CEE reform plans in Guangdong, Jiangsu and Zhejiang province, a further elaboration of the matching of CEE reform and new curriculum reform. analyzing the CEE reform process in Hunan province since restoring CEE 30 years ago, conducting a realistic analysis for the possibility of implementing pluralistic reform in Hunan province, they will contribute theoretical and practical basis to the specific ideas of CEE reform. At last, in according to the reality of Hunan province , all kinds of specific ideas abourt the pluralistic reform of CEE are proposed, such as Hunan CEE reform plan in line with the new curriculum reform, the layered and group examination system in Hunan(the joint examination system), the independence admission system of the general university, the solitary admission system of vo-tech college in Hunan, and so on. This paper may not only promote the new curriculum reform for some extent, but also ensure the CEE system to play a correct direction for foundation education. In particular, it will provide some theoretical basis to the pluralistic reform in Hunan and make the CEE system more perfect.
