The new curriculum reform in Senior High Schools and College Entrance Examination reform (CEE) are two important issues in the education reform nowadays. With the improvement of the new curriculum reform in Senior High Schools, more and more people ask for the CEE reform. So it is important to make clear the relation between the new curriculum reform in Senior High Schools and CEE reform, which will influence the reform of CEE, the new curriculum reform in Senior High Schools and also will influence talents'selection in the colleges. Based on the education and examination theories, this thesis mainly studies the interactive relationship between curriculum reform in Senior High Schools and the reform CEE, and put forward some new theory and suggestions to the CEE reform.Firstly, the introduction part of the thesis puts forward the problems in reform, explains the significance of this research, analyses the achievements and shortcomings of the earlier studies of this topic, and introduces research methods of the study. The first chapter analyses the historical evolvement of the relationship between the curriculum reform in Senior High Schools and the CEE reform since 1949. The second chapter explains how the new curriculum reform in Senior High Schools connects with the CEE reform, by taking Guangdong province, Hainan province and Shandong province as examples. The third chapter discusses the relationship between the curriculum reform in Senior High Schools and the CEE reform from the perspective of several subjects, and analyzes several related relationships. The forth chapter analyses the challenges and problems to the new curriculum reform in Senior High Schools nowadays and proposes some suggestions to the CEE reform under the background of the new curriculum reform. The last part is the conclusion part of the thesis. It put forwards some summaries and some new points which worth being studied in the future.This thesis proposes the following main ideas and conclusions.1. The curriculum reform in Senior High Schools and the CEE reform are two important and complex systems reform. It is necessary to insist on the systematic principle, and balancing the advantages and disadvantages. It is also necessary to handle the relationship between the theory and practice, between ideality and real situation. The CEE reform is direction which should advance the curriculum reform inSenior High Schools.2. Nowadays both the curriculum reform in Senior High Schools and the CEE reform base on the diathesis education. The relationship between these two reforms are becoming more and more closely. The CEE reform, which is for talents selection in colleges, must synchronize with the curriculum reform in Senior High Schools. Otherwise, it will go against effect of curriculum reform in Senior High Schools.3. The CEE reform must follow the following principles: fair and just, the basic and selective principle, and the comprehensive review and individual development principle, under the background of the new curriculum reform in Senior High Schools.
