Rapid development in today’s society. Lifelong learning is a necessary condition in the future of the social development. Autonomous learning ability as a people must possess the basic qualities to adapt to the social development. The existing junior high school physics course is not suitable for students to develop independent learning. Study aims to starting from the actual situation of school students, according to the students’ learning ability development of school-based curriculum and practice accordingly. Through the development of school-based curriculum of autonomous learning, cultivate students’ autonomous learning ability, from the course level to the existing curriculum is given priority to with passive study way of learning to form effective supplement. Through the study of autonomous learning of school-based curriculum, students form the consciousness of autonomous learning, the basic capability of autonomous learning. By autonomous learning for the development of school-based curriculum to promote teachers’ professional development, promote the education idea transformation, eventually change their teaching behavior.The process of research mainly divided into four stages. In the first stage by looking for a large number of literature, study of autonomous learning related education teaching theory knowledge, understand the present situation of the implementation of autonomous learning. During this period through the study in the us, look deeply into the implementation of autonomous learning in the junior middle school teaching situation, the autonomous learning has a more profound understanding. The second phase started developing school-based curriculum of independent learning. First wrote the school-based curriculum in junior middle school physics autonomous learning curriculum plan, including the guiding ideology, development target, development concept, the principle of development, curriculum content, curriculum implementation, curriculum evaluation, etc., and formulate the specific writing framework of school-based curriculum program. From the practice effect, autonomous learning school-based curriculum has changed the way students predominantly passive learning, change the teacher’s inherent give priority to in order to teach the way of teaching, change the way the teachers and the students give priority to in order to score evaluation, changed the way work is given priority to with boring design. Autonomous learning in the existing education evaluation system is given priority to with the examination, can not become the dominant form of students’ learning, but self-study courses can enrich the students’ learning experience, can the existing junior high school physics course to form effective supplement.
