Nowadays, Smartphone and Tablet PC have been more and more used given the high-tech development. APP in these devices have been part of our daily life already. Even for our Kids, they are also using APP as well. How about APP using frequency in our Parent-Child activities? I have tried to find the answer from the research targeting 126 families with kids from 0 to 12 years old from Shanghai and Jangsu province.Firstly, I reviewed and check relevant articles from library and online material to understand some background of this topic and Parent-Child’s theory, development stage and sensitivity period of Parent-Child etc.Then, I did research in 126 families to understand their family structure, Parent-Child relationship, knowledge of APP, usage status of APP in their daily life, parent’s attitude of using APP to summarize the key factors of Parent-Child relation. I found that below factors will have impact on Kids to use APP, how much kids like playing APP, Parents’ attitude on playing APP, Parents’ judgment of playing APP, whether Parents playing APP with Kids together, what kind of APP kids like to play.l Children’s age,l Children’s gender,l Parent’s gender,l Play APP’s timing,Etc.Based on my research findings, I will offer some suggestions to Parents in terms of Children using APP.
