Research On Perfecting The Employment Service System Of Graduates In Higher Vocational Colleges

Higher vocational education, a new type of education brought forward because of the desperately want of highly skilled personnel and the rapid developm ent of international vocational education, has b ecome an im portant component of higher education in China, which is an irrepl aceable momentum for national developm ent and social construction. In recent years, as the deepening reform of China’s socialist market economy goes on, economic structure is adjusting and upgrading. Due to such changes, graduates of polytechnics have be en feeling m ore and more difficult in career planning. Obviously, employment of these graduates has the say to the prestige of polytechnics by their contribution to the developm ent of national economy as well as their own stable development, which has great influence on economic development, social stability and the realization of Chinese dream.In this thesis, Polytechnic G is chosen as a typical sample. Then an investigation into the employment of graduates will be ca rried out so as to find and analyze the problems in current employm ent service sy stem, with advanced experien ces and practice from polytechnics in and abroad referred to,. A proposal w ill be b rought forward to make a sound system of employment service in polytechnics, argued on five subjects, nam ely government, polytechnic, employer, mediator, and graduates, aiming at helping graduates quickly m ake decisions for their career and sm oothly get ideal jobs.This thesis consists of five parts. In chapter one, background, targets, significance, and content of this thesis are introduced. In other w ords, various literatures in and abroad are collected and thoroughly analyzed, and study m ethods, philosophy, and structure for discussion are also included. In chapter two, it discusses the related theories con cerned in the thesis. In chapter three, related concepts of employment service system for polytechni c graduates are expanded based on five subjects. In chapter four, polytechnic G is m entioned as a typical sam ple in which problems within current employment service system are found and studied based on a series of questionnaire on the e mployment of previous graduates. The last chapter brings up som e specific m ethods for prac tice to im prove the em ployment service system for polytechnic graduates.
