This empirical study investigates the graduate ’ s employment service at University D in Dongguan city,Guangdong province,which is under reforms to streamline administration,delegate powers,and improve regulation and services background and under the Keynesian employment theory and service-oriented government theory.Associating with its practical experience during the optimization,multiple research methods are conducted in this paper,including literature research method,case study method and survey research method,to analyze University D comprehensively from three perspectives,namely the current reform situation,reformed before and after to optimization effects.Then four questions are found from coverage,beneficiaries,and participants to reform efficiency and mechanisms aspects.Thirdly,analyzing causes from university employment service managers ’ view,including the administrative inertial thinking of emphasizing transactional work and neglecting university teaching,people-oriented educational consciousness is vulnerable,the corporation with local governments in employment promotion is not well organized,and the investment in students’ employability cultivation is slightly insufficient”.At last,based on the above problems and reasons,this paper optimizes countermeasures for the graduate’s employment service mechanism in university,which are all mainly from education and teaching,student service,government participation and social practice aspects.This research is mainly divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which systematically combs the background and significance of the topic,reviews relevant literature at home and abroad,finds research gaps,and puts forward research questions.According to the research objects and objectives,select appropriate research ideas and methods,and summarize the research deficiencies and innovations.The second chapter defines the relevant core terms and explains the theoretical basis of the study.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of employment service management after investigating the case,and finds out the management bottleneck,management crisis and manager responsibility.The fourth chapter analyzes the main problems and corresponding reasons of employment service in colleges and universities.The fifth chapter explores effective multi-dimensional optimization strategies for universities and local governments.Finally,the conclusion of the study is summarized and the future related research is prospected.This study takes the optimization of employment service in D university as an example,and analyzes the employment service management mode in depth in combination with the actual situation of the employment work of university graduates.The four-in-one(education and teaching oriented,student service priority,government school linkage and strengthening social practice)graduate’s employment service mechanism could benefit graduate’s employment service more in maximizing the efficiency of reformation,and also to promote the long-term establishment.This discussion combines the current education development environment,economic development environment and social development environment,expands the optimization scheme of the employment service management model of college students in the new era,and has great inspiration for other colleges.
