In the 21st century, the constant breakthroughs of science and technology, especially information technology and life science have a more profound impact on the politics, economy and cultural life of the world. Along with the further development of information technology, human society is experiencing an unprecedented and profound transformation. In the past decade, countries around the world are carrying positively on the education reformation. Be different from the past, the focus of this education reformation has been changed from the system and policy level to the level of courses. The development of information technology will not only change people's work and lifestyle, but also has inestimable impact on education. It not only brings the tremendous change of the education form and the study way. More importantly, it has profound impact on the thought, idea, model, content and method of education.As an emerging curriculum, there are many arguments on the educational model, teaching method and evaluation strategy of information technology education. The different experts and teachers propose different views on what should be taught and how to teach the information technology class. The promulgation of 'Ordinary High School Information Technology Curriculum Standard' in 2003, explicitly takes the information literacy as the goal of curriculum. The definition of the information literacy in the 'Ordinary High School Information Technology Curriculum Standard' is : the basic capability of information access, processing, management and transmission; the capability of the information and information process, the method, evaluation of the result; the capability of fluent in a perspective, exchanging ideas for cooperation and innovation, and learning and solving real life problems; the complacence of ethics, with laws and regulations, and the sense of social responsibility.As a high school in rural mountain areas, based on its own actual situation and to suit the measure to its local conditions, there is a common problem that many information technology teachers face. The problem is how to develop and advance the information technology teaching vigorously; how to use the network gain, process and use information; how to display the subjective of students and train the capability of the students to get involved and use their brains; by taking the computer as a kind of assistance study tool, help students how to carry on the renewal of knowledge and life-long learning.With the software and hardware circumstances of the information technology of my school, this paper faces on the elementary education reformation. It mainly probes into the current situation and development of information technology education in the rural high school. According to the goals of information technology curriculum and the actual needs of students, this paper constructs the rural high school information technology education mode in the circumstances of information circumstances. The paper divides into five parts. The first part raises issues. It determines the purpose and the main content of the research. It elaborates the development of information technology education, and analyzes the current situation of the domestic and foreign information technology education. It also establishes the guiding ideology of this paper. In the second part, it elaborates on the goal high school information technology courses. It analyzes the current situation of high school information technology curriculum reformation. And it also shows a survey to the needs of information technology curses in my high school students. The third part carries on the curriculum standard of high school information technology. It analyzes the use of the content of teaching material in the recent three years at my school. According to the analysis, we can find out the problems. Under the school information technology learning circumstances, the fourth part discusses the existence and causes of the commonly used teaching methods. The last part proposes some strategies and gives suggestions about the high school information technology education.
