With the promotion of popularization of higher education, the depth of diversified educational reform and the constant deepening and development of the market economy, the competition among universities is increasingly fierce and the fight among universities for faculty, students, resources is already inevitable. Victory depends on the educational quality in this battle, and the promotion of educational quality needs to build a high quality, reasonable structure, relatively stable teachers’ contingent. Nevertheless, the extensive management taken to teachers in colleges and universities is apparently unable to adapt to new challenges. Improving colleges’ teachers’ management system, give full play to the positive role of teachers in colleges and universities is not only a strong support to achieve the healthy development of colleges, but also the topic concerned by college leaders and theoretical researchers.Fine management theory is an advanced theory. The application of teachers’ meticulous management in universities can largely solve the existing problems of teachers management in the universities.The article firstly studied the basic concepts and related theories of teachers’ meticulous management in universities; then implemented the necessity to analyze the fine management of university teachers and summarized problems of teachers management in universities; On the basis of the above study, using fine management theory, proposed appropriate measures for existing problems in the management of university teachers. The article considers that setting post reasonably and refining duties, establishing fine university teachers’ evaluation system,strengthening fine teachers’ incentive system, internalizing the rules and regulations is the foundation of university teachers’ meticulous management system. Improved scheme constructed on the above basis can overcome the problems about job responsibilities setting, evaluation and incentive issues of university teachers, protect the rights of teachers from the institution, create a fair, reasonable and relatively free working environment for teachers, fully stimulate the teachers’ potential and effectively reduce the drawbacks generated from traditional university teacher management system.
