The rapid development of modern network information technology has a profound impact on education.As a typical application of network information technology in the field of education,Virtual Learning Community(VLC)will face new opportunities for development.Virtual learning community is a kind of network learning platform,community learning not only knowledge of consumers,but also the creators of knowledge,and between the user and the platform in the virtual learning community users and complement each other,mutual promotion and common development.The development of the community has brought about a change in the way of learning,which makes virtual learning become a trend,but at the same time,the problem of maintaining the learners in the community is becoming increasingly prominent.This behavior is not conducive to the knowledge construction and healthy development of the virtual learning community.This paper will study the influence of learning motivation on learner retention from the perspective of users,so as to explore the influence mechanism of learning motivation on learner retention.In this paper,literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and other research methods are used to conduct research on students from Qufu Normal University and Rizhao Polytechnic.First of all,in the domestic and foreign related learners and learning based on the literature analysis of motivation research has explained the research background,current situation,purpose and significance of the content;then based on the classical theory,the concept of virtual learning community,learning motivation and learning into the definition;followed by the review of the continued use of model theory research on the current learning motivation scale and motivation theory and information system,summarizes the seven dimensions of learning motivation: academic achievement,learning interest,external effect,self-development,self-realization,social effect,cognitive balance,the mediator effect on learners’ learning motivation to keep the satisfaction and is expected to confirm,affect and learners: Continuous use intention.On this basis,a research model of the influence of learning motivation on learner retention in virtual learning community is constructed,and the relationship between learning motivation and learner retention is hypothesized.A questionnaire is compiled again,and the questionnaire is modified through pre survey.Analysis using SPSS20.0 and AMOS21.0 data of the formal survey of descriptive analysis,reliability analysis,factor analysis and structural equation,and according to the results of inspection and modification of the structure model;finally according to the conclusion of the research results,and puts forward the suggestions to keep learning.The results of this study show that academic achievement,learning interest,external effect,self-development,self-realization and social cognitive effects,the balance of seven dimensions can be used to express the virtual learning community middle school learners learning motivation;users in the virtual learning community satisfaction and expectations that plays an intermediary role in the influence of academic achievement and knowledge interest,outside effect,self-development,social effect and cognitive motivation of the learners to keep balance;in the process of self-realization motivation to keep its influence on learners in mediating only user satisfaction.
