Our Private University has 30 years of history, the past decade, China’s private universities have been rapid developed in the number and size, greatly ease the contradiction between supply and demand of higher education in China. In recent years, Emergency in the Private University has been rising, campus security issues are grim. Management of private universities is facing a lot of challenges. Forefront of reform and opening up, Guangdong is one of the earliest to develop private higher education and also have higher requirements on the emergency warning mechanism.This paper takes the response of the emergency in the private university in Guangdong Province as the research object, using a literature survey, case analysis and statistical analysis methods, from the perspective of public policy, described the current situation of emergency management in Guangdong private university emergencies, problems and the reason, to strengthen emergency management in Guangdong private university emergencies come up with strategies guiding significance.Through research, we draw some conclusions as follows: First, private colleges and universities in Guangdong emergency management faces the grim situation, when students in private colleges emergencies occur, unexpected events common in newspapers, network, management of private universities has been no less impact and challenges. A test of the emergency incident management level private colleges and universities, for emergencies emergency management, but also have a profound impact on the survival and development of private schools. Second, there are many problems in Private Universities Emergency Management. Including pre-construction and the lack of a comprehensive system management, lack of things tight handling mechanism, after the lack of effective analysis and management. Causes of these problems are manifold. Which includes a variety of reasons students, schools, government, and society. Third, we must engage in before, during, and after the three phases of emergency management to strengthen crisis management In short, is to continuously improve Guangdong Private Colleges emergency management awareness, early warning mechanism to explore the construction of private colleges and universities in Guangdong emergencies and emergency management system, promote the sustainable development of private universities and the harmonious development of society.
