Crisis Management And Emergency Mechanism Of University

As cradles of high-quality personnel training, colleges are socially concerned and they can easily become places of crisis with changes of enviroment. Crisis management has become an important content of management science especially of business management and public Management. As an extension of social crisis management and public crisis management. the Crisis Management of college has become an integral part of crisis management.On the base of analyzing the results of Crisis Management of domestic and foreign universities, This paper defined the connotation and Extension of the crisis of Chinese universities and elaborated systematically the differences and connections among the crises, emergencies and college crisis. Chapter III focuses on classification and process settings of crisis management mechanism by introducing the mechanism theory by which starts from generalized crisis management, drawing lessons from emergency mechanism theory of unexpected events. Chapter Ⅳanalyzes the current situation and existing problems of the college crisis management in China, starting from the stage strategy(the prevention stage、 treatment stage and aftercare stage) and the level of strategy, to view the existing defects. Chapter V gives a number of recommendations from the operational level in the particular field--ollege, to clear the target and basis of the college crisis management. And it proposes that colleges should change the idea from reality, concern about agency construction, perfect system of crisis,give more materials, strengthen the system construction, think highly of the role of new media and coporation of government.etc.Finally, it gives two typical crisis management examples to illustrate the gains and losses to the universities.As a attempt to the process from the expansion of the emergency response mechanism to the the entire crisis management, this paper not only hope to play a valuable feedback effect, but also hope to provide a new perspective for the creation of safe and harmonious campus.
