Project-based teaching is kind of method that motivates the students to integrate the theoretical knowledge and practice. Currently, project-based teaching method is widely applied in the specialized course presentation in secondary vocational schools and has gained remarkable effect. Due to the complexity of the mathematic theories, the application of project-based teaching in Mathematics is still in the infancy stage. Previous studies in this field are mainly confined to the related chapters concerning about the basic mathematical module and expanded module, yet there is nil evidence in the vocational module of service Mathematics. Combining with the characteristics of the professional settings in Qingdao area, this research takes the application and exploration of project-based teaching in vocational module of service Mathematics as the research topic, aiming to reverse the dilemma of service class students in Mathematics study in the special period, improve the pertinence and effectiveness of mathematics teaching in vocational service class, enhance the post adaptability of service graduates, further promote the professional development of the mathematics teachers of secondary vocational schools, and provide certain reference to the curriculum reform of project-based teaching.The experimental subjects of this research are the135pre-internship students of grade2012from the service academies in Qingdao, majoring in Modern Logistics, Modern Residences Design, Electronic Commerce and Accounting. This research mainly adopts literature research, investigation, action research, etc. The study mainly covers the following items:Under the background of teaching reform and literature research, the project-based teaching method is stated and the vocational module of service Mathematics in secondary vocational schools is interpreted, then the feasibility of the combining research is presented. Furthermore, the study status of service class students and teaching situation of Mathematics teaching are investigated and analyzed. By referring to the undergoing research, the feasibility of project-based teaching method in the practice layer in vocational module of service Mathematics in secondary vocational schools is proposed, making the implementation of project-based teaching method possible. On the basis of the teaching process design and the implementation strategies of service Mathematics, the project-based teaching method is applied, taking The Principle and Method of the Planning Results as an example. The analysis to the experimenters’questionnaire demonstrates once again that the implementation of project-based teaching indeed has timeliness.Via the whole research, the following conclusions can be drawn:(1) To those students lacking of internship experience, conducting vocational module teaching can improve their dilemma in Mathematics teaching, enhance their capabilities of industrial employment and display useful principles of Mathematics study.(2) Project-based teaching method is kind of efficient teaching method for the presentation of the vocational module of service Mathematics in secondary vocational schools.(3) Project-based teaching method can promote the professional development of the Mathematics teachers.(4) The construction of the project-based teaching can provide certain reference to the Mathematics curriculum reform in secondary vocational schools.Innovative Pionts of the Research:The retrieval of the existing literature indicates that the use of project-based teaching in secondary vocational schools is only limited to certain knowledge point of one unit or a certain link in the process of teaching. Accordingly, this research sets the whole teaching unit as a major project on the basis of the characteristics of the vocational module in secondary vocational schools. Meanwhile, plenty of branches are listed under the analysis of the major project, which is quite difficult to achieve in the filed of basic mathematical module and expanded module. This study makes the application of project-based teaching in Mathematics expanded in secondary vocational schools.
