With the progress of science and technology and the upgrading of industrial structure,the human resource market has improved its requirements for talents,which also puts forward higher requirements for vocational education.But nowadays,there is a common problem in vocational colleges,especially secondary vocational colleges:the talents cultivated are not well matched with the demand of the labor market.This is also one of the reasons why the quality of secondary vocational employment in vocational colleges is not high in recent years.In order to further improve the quality of talent training in secondary vocational colleges,it is necessary to optimize its teaching and introduce new teaching concepts and teaching methods.Project teaching method plays a positive role in cultivating students’ learning ability and vocational ability,and it is also active Engineering majors have long been introduced,and have achieved good results.However,through consulting the materials,the application of the project teaching method in the hotel management major is relatively few,which has a good research prospect.The theme of this study: systematically discuss the research background and research purpose,clarify the necessity of the research,and make the theoretical basis of the research more scientific;investigate the teaching status of the course,analyze the feasibility of the project teaching method in Hotel Service and Management,so that the research can be scientifically and orderly;conduct the project teaching method in this course Specific implementation research can summarize the experience and shortcomings to provide the basis for other practical disciplines of the major;and adopt the comparative method to study whether the project teaching method is effective in this course.Conclusion: Compared with the traditional teacher-centered teaching method,the project teaching method has a great advantage in cultivating students’ professional ability.In the end,the paper points out the difficulties and deficiencies encountered in the research process,as well as the conditions that the school and teachers should have when conducting the project teaching,and gives relevant suggestions.The purpose of this study is to improve the teaching quality of the course "Hotel Service and Management" and better stimulate students’ learning Positive,improve the students’ professional ability and professional quality,so that the talents trained by secondary vocational colleges can meet the requirements of enterprises for the professional talents,enhance the competitiveness of secondary vocational college students in the job market,but also provide high-quality technical talents for the development of local economy.
