An Analysis Of The Errors In Teaching Chinese Characters Written By High School Students In Dalatu County, Thailand, And Teaching Strategies

Chinese Foreign Teaching is an important part of Chinese international education, because learning and teaching Chinese as a second language includes both oral teaching also includes a written language teaching. It is difficult to understand Chinese characters of the language as well as the long history of China cultural history.The cultural history of a country often embodies the wisdom of a nation, and therefore, in the economic globalization today, the Chinese want to go abroad, teaching of Chinese characters is particularly important.The author’s research based on Thailand Ratchaburi Danuna school. And the author also found that the students’ Chinese writing errors are mainly on the wrong stroke:the length of the stroke is not good grasp, increase and decrease the stroke, deformation strokes; there are also on the wrong parts:the defect parts, conversion parts, size and location of the components mishandled; wrong on the whole word:word similar confusion. The author analyzed the cause of the error,and found out those errors mainly due to its complex characters, also students’ understanding of Chinese characters is not enough; the lack of professionalism of teachers; negative migration mother tongue; difficulty of teaching inconsistent with the actual level of the students; learning influence policy. Finally, the author based on the teaching strategies and elaborate practical teaching methods and implement it. To stimulate students’interest in learning Chinese characters; gradual, focusing strokes of Chinese characters, part of characters’ teaching; timely comparison and summary. All of these methods had a significant effect.The author hope to provide some inspiration for those characters teaching in Thailand, and to make effort for writing Chinese characters’teaching..
