After World War II, within rapid economic growth developing period, there are tremendous changes happened in Japanese daily diet life. Resulting from the traditional food culture is constantly impacted by exotic foreign food culture, it influences Japanese local citizens and normal people’s diet structure, diet circumstance and other factors profoundly. It also causes that Japanese society has suffered a sequence of problems related to health and cultural issues associated with diet. In order to solve a series of social problems regarding the food and cuisine, the Japanese government distributes the 《food education basic law》, which adopts legal means and manages to improve the quality of the national diet gradually since infant and childhood feeding phases. Since then the term "food education" is initiated to utilize widespread among Japanese people. The national activities are processing pretty much well on the theme and subject of "Food education" domestically, therefore the public healthy problems have been greatly improved and much better than antique times. Particularly the infant period diet education which is the whole beginning and origin, is the supreme priority among their entire diet educational system.At present, the related problems concerned about infant and childish diet also begin to enter the Chinese society public horizon, as the importance of preprimary education being focused constantly by Chinese government. Especially the crisis in incorrect eating habits, physical quality decline, excessive consumption of junk food of children, which are becoming more severe society problems confronted by not only children and infants but also all ages people in our society in current time. Meanwhile, due to the deficiency concentration and insufficient attention of the notion “food education” by domestic educational institutions and normal families, it has brought about a problem that many children are fed by a incomplete diet sterile at the pre-school phases. Thus, Faced with this educational dilemma, Chinese domestic scholars prefer and agree to the ways how Japanese feed their children which is “food education”.Therefore this paper is analyzing the situation based on current reality of how certain kindergartens treat the infant diet and the level of the importance they treat the infant diet in Chinese contemporary society. To summarize the reasons why Japanese could be successful in the aspect of children diet which is the induction of this paper, I take the Japanese infant diet historical evolution of fertility as the object of this study, and put forward reasonable proposals and advises pointing at Chinese current diet situation of toddlers. The paper comprises of three main parts. The first part emphasizes the reasons why I choose this topic, the meaning of practice, reorganizing or summarizing from some the domestic or foreign literacy materials and what the option is within the method of research of this paper. The second part mainly introduces the cognitive evolution process of the Japanese food education notion, theoretical sources and practical situation. It critically focuses on the research subject, namely infant diet education which is the most important part of the Japanese diet system. At the same time, as summarizing the food and diet promotional activities in early 21 st century, I also would make deeply conclude and consolidation the executing or implemented details, discipline setting, family environment and the quality of different teachers and other factors of infant diet activities. The third part is base on the reference of the successful Japanese children food education experience, combining with the practical infant diet experience of certain parts kindergartens in some areas of our country. To propose rational suggestions and executing principles, it might be corresponded to our local situation, local characteristics of infant diet development on our contemporary society in China. Thus it will be better for the development of promoting Chinese infant food education, and the young children could get better and comprehensive opportunities to grow up healthy and live better lives. The final conclusion of the study is that the successful Japanese infant food and diet experience could effectively cope with the children diet problems faced by our Chinese contemporary society to some extent, it is worthy to utilize and promote in our country.
