Before the age of three is a critical period for young children to learn English,carrying out English collective teaching activities in the kindergarten can stimulate children's interest in English learning, lay the foundation for English learning. Among them, game teaching method as the main method of English collective teaching activities has been the love by many children educator and teaching workers. But at present, the application of game teaching method in kindergarten English collective teaching activities is not common.This paper takes Baoji kindergarten as an example. Firstly, I used the literature method. I have reviewed and collected a large number of literature, not only at home and abroad on children 's English teaching, teaching methods of teaching works, but also studied a lot of well-known domestic and foreign educational theory, psychological theory. On this basis, combined with my teaching practice, generalizing the form of the game teaching method in kindergarten English collective teaching activities. Summed up the three forms of game teaching applications are application of before, in and after activities in kindergarten English collective teaching activities. Secondly, in order to understand whether the game teaching method can improve the interest of children's English learning and the application of kindergarten English collective teaching activities,this paper adopts the questionnaire survey method and the interview method. According to the research needs, I designed the questionnaire and interview outline, and to investigate. According to the results of questionnaire survey and interview, the paper analyzes the attitude of teachers' use of game teaching method, and whether the game teaching method can improve the interest of English learning and the problems in teaching from the teacher's point of view. Thirdly, I used the observation method. on the one hand I designed teaching program through the use of traditional teaching methods and game teaching methods. Carrying out in order to observe the atmosphere of teaching activities and children's reaction. On the other hand, I chose ten cases of the English collective teaching activities, observing the whole teaching activities, and analyzing the typical three teaching cases. Through field observation, finding children's interest in game teaching and the specific application process problems.It is found that the game teaching method can improve the interest of children in English collective teaching activities, but there are still existing problems like surface understanding of teachers on game teaching method, weak control of game teaching classroom rhythm, separation of game and teaching and other problems. According to the research and teaching practice, this paper puts forward three suggestions like strengthen the kindergarten English teacher training, enrich the organization form of kindergarten English teaching game, and establish the kindergarten English collective teaching game library in order to carry out the kindergarten English collective teaching activities better.
