With reference to middle school students in Jiangsu province in recent years (Jiangsu table ts) based athletics and high school students in Jiangsu Province Track and field championship s hot competition results, the 2007--2014 Middle School of Yangzhou City Sunshine sports athlet ics shot game statistics and analysis of results. To further discuss about and consummate the mode of amateur shot-put athletes training of the middle school students in Yangzhou. At the same time, we have made an overall investigation of the training of the amateur shot-put athletes to find where the problem is and offer the according suggestion, which has offered an important reference and support for the amateur shot-put training and amateur training of other items in the youngsters age group.This thesis has adopted methods of documents and materials, specialist interviewing, questionnaire investigating, compared analysis, mathematic counting, randomly extracted 82 shot-put athletes and 25 coaches as object in 16 middle and high schools in Yangzhou, which has made an analysis from the basic information from the state of the amateur shot-put athletes in Yangzhou, the coaches, and the environment of training, we have drawn a conclusion of research as follows:1.With reference to two game shot put at the provincial level of the top five outstanding performance, our city’s excellent performance athletes have difference. And ups and downs is obvious, the average result is weak.2.of the junior high school athletes do not attach importance to training reserve personnel, lack of coherence, resulting in special unskilled; in high level competition opportunities, "learning a nd training contradictions" also affects the cultural learning athletes.3.coaches educational attainment is not optimistic, which is one of the important factors of the 1 ack of advanced scientific research in the field of throwing; coaches lack of exercise experience , no long-term training programs, too much focus on the term training plan and pre competition training, and no specific technology and quality training combination.4. Part of the school site construction is not perfect, affect the enthusiasm of the coaches, to increase the probability that the player was injured in training; Leaders, parents of students participate in amateur training is not enough attention, thus inhibiting the growth of the athletes.5.
