In recent years, with the acceleration development of new curriculum concept, guiding case this teaching mode has gradually entered the junior high school geography class. Learning case teaching mode is the "guide" the teacher and the students’ "learning" organically unify, to mobilize the students’ initiative, enthusiasm and creativity, by relying on the guiding case full training, improve the students’ comprehensive ability to apply the geographical knowledge, to better develop the students’ learning ability, innovation ability, this is not only the teaching reform, but also teaching reform.In the stage of junior middle school and high school entrance exam subjects teaching, research on learning case teaching model is more, in the middle school geography discipline, study very little. This topic research is under the guidance of teaching theory, combined with teaching practice, the teaching experiment method is adopted, with the method of literature and investigation, the case of guide in the junior high school geography classroom teaching is researched. Based on people’s education press version of the junior middle school geography discipline as the research object, to guide learning case applied in classroom teaching of experiment research. In seventh grade between two parallel class to carry out the teaching experiment, the experimental class learning case teaching, that in comparative classes to carry out the routine teaching. After a year and a half after the experiment, the experimental classes and the teaching effect has carried on the comparative analysis of that in comparative classes. From the test, the results of the survey and the classroom feedback information as you can see, learning case teaching method is adopted to carry out the teaching classes and without using this approach to teaching class, in such aspects as performance, learning interest, has the obvious difference.The experimental results show that the learning case teaching mode in teaching, greatly to mobilize the students to think about and explore the problems of initiative and enthusiasm, so as to effectively promote the students’ learning, improve the efficiency of classroom teaching and has achieved obvious teaching effect. Learning case teaching mode accords with the cognitive law of junior middle school students, helps to stimulate students learning motivation and problem solving ability. This kind of teaching mode embodies the teachers’ leading role and students’ main body role, make the leading role and the main body role in harmonious unification, maximum benefit. Learning case teaching mode in the junior high school geography classroom teaching, the application of the teachers and students can get a lot of benefits.
