Robot education, emphasizing the Hand and Mind,is not only an important approach to cultivate students’innovative and hands-on ability, but also one of the education foundation to implement "manufacturing" power towards "smart" power. In recent years, With the further reform in basic education, the robot education gradually become an indispensable part of the primary and middle school information technology course, and be incorporated into the comprehensive practice and general technology course and so on. Some scholars have aises some thoughts to integrate the robot education and science teaching in middle and primary school robot education field, such as mathematics, physics and other subjects, so as to achieve the aim of enriching teaching, but at present robot education is still at the initial development stage of teaching skills as the core in our country. At present in the teaching activities of the robot do not focus on the other disciplines involved which robot. So this research aims to try to build around the concept of STEM, with Arduino as the platform, with project learning as a medium to solve some problems that existing in the robot teaching. Quasi-experimental study method is used in this paper. The experimental objects of this study are the students of Arduino curriculum of Wenzhou Middle School of XinJiangBu.The experiment evaluates the adaptability of the student through the study of STEM teaching from the following four aspects (1) the attitude with the robot; (2) the capacity for innovation; (3) the attitude with the other objects (4) increase wih the knowledge and technical of the robot.This paper has six parts. In chapter 1, this paper expounds reaserch background, topics of the reasons, relational concept, reaserch status, main content, method and hypothesis. In chapter 2, this paper introduces the tight relationship between STEM and robot education. In chapter 3, this paper mainly includes Arduino robot education project design and development based on STEM. In chapter 4,this paper discusses of arduino robotic based on STEM in concrete implement, and several teaching cases about the reaserch are mentioned. In chapter 5,this paper uses the SPSS software and Excel for statistics and analysis of date about works, creativity tendency, robot attitude,other subjects of the students, and draw relevant conclusions. In chapter 6, this paper summarizes the reaserch.Through the statistical analysis of experimental data, the experimental results show that:(1) For the course of Arduino Creative Robotics, the change of in the design reaserch based on is feasibility and correctness. (2)There was significant difference for some students in the level of attitudes.They show a interest and using tendency in the areas:"anxiety" "stickiness" "love". (3) There was significant difference for some students in the level of the capacity for innovation. They show a interest and using tendency in the areas:"curiosity" " imagination".(4) There was significant difference for some students in the level of attitudes of studying other subjects, especially embodied in mathematics, physics and other subjects.(5) Students had master the basic knowledge and technology of the robot. At the same time, they could develop some creative works of robots with combining with the real life and existing knowledge experience.
