At present, it sets off an upsurge of picture books in China, many people in the societybegin the promotion of picture book reading. Picture books is designed for young children,kindergarten, as the main place of young children accepting education, begin to introduce thepicture book into teaching with no exception, which becomes effective resources to carry outteaching activities for preschool teachers. This article, through the present situation investigationto kindergarten teachers application of picture books in the teaching activities, tries to understandthe application status of picture book resources in kindergarten collective teaching activities, onthe basis of analyzing the present situation and finding the problem, so that we can put forwardconcrete, effective and practical strategy.This article mainly adopts the combination of quantitative research and qualitative researchmethods. It collects information about the application of picture books in group activities inJi’nan kindergarten through questionnaire investigation and observation. First,it gives aconclusion of kindergarten teachers’ understanding of picture books through the questionnaireinvestigation, as well as the application status of picture book in preschool. Secondly, it canlearn the situation of kindergarten teachers in the teaching activities of the collective designapplying picture books through in-depth practice and observation. It collects the popularity ofpicture book in teaching activities in kindergarten and teachers’ understanding of the picturebook in the collective teaching activities and value-mining conditions, which provides a real andspecific information for the writing of this article. Taking use of the above information, itanalyze problems and reason of Ji’nan kindergarten teachers in the use of picture books to carryout the collective teaching activities. Finally, based on the above analysis, in view of theproblems existing in the present situation and the reasons, the article puts forward practical andfeasible implementation strategies to improve the application value of picture book inkindergarten collective teaching activities.
