| In recent years,, the educational value of picture books have been widely recognized, picture books are used in various fields in kindergarten. Among the many themes of picture books, there are many picture books contain mathematical concepts, the combination of these picture books and mathematical instruction is becoming a new research project. At the same time, classroom teachers have also found this, they attempt to integrate picture books into mathematical instruction.This research aims to discuss the teaching process of in tegrating picture books into collective teaching activities of mathematics of middle class in kindergarten, through the reflection and action recycle of the process of action research, and to understand the influence of integrating picture books into collective teaching activities of mathematics to children.at the same time, to give advice to kindergarten teachers who want to integrate picture books into mathematical instruction. This research’s object is32middle class children, carried out five mathematical concepts’ teaching actives:model, classification, ordinal, compare sets, and shape, integrated five related picture boos into related instruction. Data collected include instruction recording and its transcriptional form, research diary, the discussion with cooperative teacher, children’s works, and interview data of children.The results show that picture books can be used in collective teaching activities of mathematics of middle class in kindergarten; When using picture books in collective teaching activities of mathematics of middle class in kindergarten should notice following aspects:the choice of picture books, the design of teaching activities, the implementation of the teaching activities; Integrational instructions of picture books have following influence on children:children like the teaching method that integrating picture books into collective teaching activities of mathematics, In integrational instruction environment, children’s thinking and communication skills have been advanced, Integrating picture books into collective teaching activities of mathematics enhanced children’s interest in mathematics, Integrating picture books into collective teaching activities of mathematics enable children to grasp mathematics concept well.
