| Along with our country’s basic education curriculum reform continued to deepen, theidea of mathematical modeling has been paid more and more attention. People graduallyrealize the importance to carry out modeling teaching research, development model inprimary school students thought in Mathematics Teaching. Compulsory educationmathematics curriculum standard proposed "curriculum goal""knowledge and skills""mathematical thinking" and "comprehensive practice" and other parts are designed to modeland mathematical modeling. However, many primary school teachers do not understand themathematical modeling, so that they cannot accurately grasp the spirit of the curriculumstandards, and implement the goals of curriculum reform. In view of this, researchers used theaction research method, observation method, interview and text analysis method to study theexisted problems of mathematical modeling thought in the application of primary schoolmathematics modeling teaching, carried on the practice exploration of these issues andsolutions, and put forward some suggestions.This paper consists of five parts: The first part is the introduction.The second part is toexplain the related concept of mathematical modeling, four major concepts relate tomathematical modeling, the idea of mathematical modeling, the ability of mathematicalmodeling and the teaching of modeling.The third part through the observation and reflection of the teaching practice of aprimary school teacher in Jinan, collecting collaborators`lesson plans and students`homework then carrying on analysis, found that the teachers of current primary schoolmathematics modeling teaching are don`t have clear goal of modeling teaching, don`t chooseteaching methods according to the characteristics of the modeling teaching to, their designs ofteaching are single, old, and the teaching effect is poor, some mistakes occur when studentsbuild model, it influences the effect of primary school mathematics modeling teaching, causesa low modeling capability of students, and cannot lay a solid foundation for future learning.Besides,the second part analyzed the cause of problems occurred in current modeling teaching,including four aspects: school, parents, students and teachers. Of which, only paying attentionto ability cultivation and teachers by schools is the main cause. The problems of teachersthemselves include rarely studying the mathematics curriculum standards in compulsoryprimary school education; teachers’ daily teaching most according totheir former teaching experience, rarely taking the initiative to update their knowledge and lacking the experience of modeling teaching.The fourth part in view of the problems existing in the teaching modeling of the teacher,the researchers reference the curriculum standards of compulsory education primary school,textbook and exercise, according to the current situation of primary and middle schoolstudents, they finished making the new design of modeling teaching from the contents, goal,method, design and feedback of the modeling teaching, Including explicit modelingteaching purpose,select modeling teaching content carefully, select the appropriate method ofmodeling teaching, design rich links of modeling teaching, evaluate the modeling teachingtimely.. and has carried on the practice, has obtained good teaching effect: the modelmemorizing of students are good, students can successfully apply this to solve practicalproblems and master the deformation of model.The fifth part prospected on modeling teaching. First,permeate modeling thoughtactively and culture modeling consciousness. Studying of compulsory educationmathematics curriculum standard seriously and improving their own quality, updating allkinds of knowledge.Second,improve student’s modeling ability and solve practical problems.Including improve reading comprehension, lay a solid foundation; improve themathematical ability, established model successfully; improve the plausible reasoning ability,adjustment model flexibly; improve the ability of solving mathematical model, solveproblems successfully. |
