Against the overwhelming background of new curriculum reform, the teachingmethod of Chinese is faced with brand new challenges. As one of the most importantcomponent of the teaching in Chinese, the composition teaching method is growing to bethe research subject of numerous devoted experts and intellectuals. However, the currentteaching method of composition writing in junior and senior high school is still far fromsatisfying. Confronted with the teaching reality, this thesis aims to conduct a new tryoutand exploration under the guidance of the system theory, psychology as well as theprinciple of sequence in an attempt of constructing a bridge to the composition writing inmiddle and high school to achieve the goal of improving the teaching in compositionwriting and enhancing the writing skills of the students in hope of learning from each otherand contributing to the teaching of composition writing.The teaching of composition writing deserves a lot of attention and efforts from ourteachers. However, there are many shortcomings in some aspects in this area such asincomplete teaching material systems, unawareness of the writing styles, the casualty ofteaching methods and unconsciousness of the layers of the different level students.Sometimes, the lack in systematical and orderly training results in that the students cannotpractice their writing skills efficiently. This situation leads to the fact that the teacher andthe students are in a dilemma where the students are not fond of writing and teacher isshort of passion in teaching. The teachers are not able to improve the writing ability of thestudents even though they have spared every effort to help and they have to make the modeout of the writing to instill to the students. However, by doing so, the writing has lost itsfunction in measuring the holistic level of the students. Therefore, in the teaching ofwriting composition, one has to comply with the integrity, sequence and hierarchy in orderto attain the spiral improvement in teaching and hierarchical training in writing in hope ofa plain transition to a linkage of the whole teaching of Chinese as the final purpose. This thesis attempts to improve the whole level of the composition writing underthe guideline of the sequence of the writing aims and material, based on the idea of thebridge curriculum as the spiral enhancement, the method of training in the clear-cutdivision of the writing styles in order to promote the writing by combining the readingtechniques.From the research of the previous subjects, most of the researchers spend theirenergies on the discussion of the middle or high school stages or pick out one of thecategory of the style in the research. This thesis starts from the entirety of the compositionwriting and unfolds the topic through the question of constructing the writing system; takethe design of the bridge curriculum in the high school composition writing as the examplein hope of providing a new thought for the Chinese teachers who devote to the reform ofthe composition writing via this innovated design to contribute to the enhancement in theefficiency of the composition writing.
