A Probe Into The Function Of The Magic Bars In Wa Community

Rural communities in the border areas are the basic structure of the frontier society. They play an important role in frontier society. The stability of border communities, not only directly related to national stability, but also directly related to the vital interests of the masses in the frontier. Compared to the inland rural communities, the situation of rural communities in frontier religion is more complex. There are so many factors can influence the development of the communities, such as nationality, foreign forces,religion and so on. Managing border communities, we not only need state-level support, but also need to consider the ethnic factor. This paper try to explore the importance of traditional non-governmental organizations in the community management.Moba is one of the traditional managers in Va’s community and he is also intellectual and spiritual leader of Va. Even today, Moba still exists in the management of community as traditional authority. They play very important functions in community management. This paper is based on the field research of Yonghe community and analysis the roles and functions of Moba in Modern Va community.This paper include six chapters and can be divided into four parts. The first part of the paper contain the first and second chapter. This part introduces the interpretation of the research background and core concepts. Specifically, the first chapter mainly contains the origin of the study, the significance of the research, literature review, the core concepts, research methods, profiles and other research sites. The second chapter is about the core concept-Moba. In the second chapter, the writer discusses the origins of Moba and its internal organizational hierarchy and division of labor, as well as the status and role of Moba in Va’s traditional society.The second part of this paper introduces the research sites and analyzes the geographical, ethnic, religious factors in Yonghe community. Then explain these factors how to influence the community.The third part of the paper includes the fourth and fifth chapter. This part is the most important part of this paper. In this part, the writer discusses Moba’s role in the community and their functions in modern Va community. The fourth chapter is based on the field data analyzed. This part points that Moba play the role of knowledge heritage, order defenders, educator, environmental protector in Yonghe community. The fifth chapter discuss about the functions of Moba in modern Va’s community. This functions include political function, economic function, regulating contradictions, communities ’care, communities’ security.The fourth part is the sixth chapter. It is the conclusion and the discussion of the paper. In this chapter, the writer summarizes the entire paper and discusses the related issues.
