In order to innovate and break through teaching bottleneck actually, history teaching in senior middle school requires a large amount of teaching materials to serve it. To illustrate the problem better, this paper takes "Material Life and Customs Changes" as an example to discuss the establishment process, practical significance and industry application value of history teaching resource base in senior middle school. Firstly, the resource base covers various resources that are fit for teachers to teach and students to learn, teachers can look for relevant information via resource base timely to enhance lesion preparation efficiency and teaching validity, and appropriate resources can directly guide students to achieve the objectives preset by teachers, and complete the established teaching tasks. When encountering unapprehended knowledge, students can look for relevant resources timely and solve problems. Secondly, resource base can subdivide the levels and forms of resources, and provide the most appropriate resources for the objects in need. Finally, the new teaching forms that are emerging in recent years and take advantage of micro-video for teaching, such as flipped classroom and MOOC, are entering into the vision of both teachers and students gradually. The most important feature of micro-video teaching is that it innovates teaching forms, and its essential teaching contents and targets are not changed, that is, with the purpose that students can achieve the teaching objectives and that it can maintain development on a long-term basis, it requires diversified teaching resources to make up. In case history teaching resource base and flipped classroom can combine together, it can serve history teaching better so that history teaching can get out of the dilemma.This paper investigates the construction process mainly from three macroscopic parts, namely, practical needs, strategy and reflection of history teaching resource base construction in senior middle school; microcosmically, this paper mainly combines with "Material Life and Customs Changes" and discusses the specific process to construct history teaching resource base in senior middle school. The most important innovation in this paper is that it abandons the economic history and political history that are discussed repeatedly, but starts from social life history to discuss relevant problems about history teaching resource base construction in senior middle school.
