Learning difficulty is a phenomenon that exists in many students and adults. Researches on learning difficulty have important practical significance since that it is the improvement of people’s comprehensive qualities that brings about the enhancement of our national power. The Learning difficulty has its universality and negative effects, which has determined the necessity and significance of the researches in this area.For now researches on students with learning difficulties have been made and generated some influential achievements. However, in the aspect of research, there are many studies on the psychological education for the students with learning difficulties, but very few on the help from family and social atmosphere and teaching method. Secondly, from the point of research objects, many of them are middle school students with learning difficulties in main subjects, like Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, etc., which indicates insufficiency of those with learning difficulties in geography. In term of the research method, many of these studies are pure theoretical researches in the model of "static", "text", only few of them are empirical researches.The article includes six parts:the first part introduces the background, the objective, the meaning and the innovations of this research. The second part is a literature review of the current state of the domestic and foreign researches on learning difficulties, as well as the definitions for the students with learning difficulties. The third part introduces the method, the research ideas, and the concept of this research. The forth part is a case study and in-depth analysis for the causes. The fifth part describes the attempts of the author to help those students to find their ways out of difficulties during this research. The sixth part is the authors’ own reflections.In this research, the author tracked the state of the students with learning difficulties in the Jiangsu Dafeng Senior High School. The author used methods such as questionnaires, interviews, observation, etc., to conduct case study on school case and some of the students who has difficulty in geography. By doing this, the author strived to know all about the students with learning difficulties, to discover the causes, and to offer corresponding solutions from the angles of the school, the teacher, the family, the class management and the students themselves. More over, the author made multiple attempts to help those students in the context of the school, with a strong will to create favorable internal and external environments, and finally help them to achieve all-round development with appropriate methods.
