With the development of society,people pay more and more attention to education.Nine-yearcompulsory education system is the basic education system of our country,including primary school stage and junior middle school stage.Learning in junior high school is the foundation of learning in senior high school,which plays an important role in connecting from the above to the next.However,there are some problems in junior middle school education.What is more prominent is the lack of attention to the"secondary subject",so there is the problem of geography learning difficulties for junior middle school students.Under the background of the current curriculum reform,the study of the causes of geography learning difficulties of junior high school students and the transformation measures are in line with the development trend of the current geography education and teaching reform.Through the study of this problem,we will not only study geography for students.Providing important reference elements to improve the present situation of geography learning difficulties of junior high school students,and also has certain theoretical and practical significance for teachers to do a good job in geography education and teaching.The methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and statistical analysis were used to study.First of all,by reading a large number of relevant literature,the research background,the research significance and the research method and thought are put forward;secondly,the system summarizes the domestic and foreign research status quo;and thirdly,The questionnaire and interview survey were used to investigate the students and the teachers in the study of the geography learning difficulties of the junior high school students,and the data of the survey were analyzed by using a variety of statistical methods such as SPSS software,and the fourth,according to the results of the investigation,the reason was found out.Finally,the main conclusions and the innovation of this study are summarizedThrough a comparative study on the results of three examinations in a middle school in Xiuwu County,it is found that the phenomenon of geography learning difficulties is very common among junior middle school students,not only the number of students with learning difficulties is too large,but also the degree of learning difficulties is more serious.It is necessary to study the causes of geography learning difficulties of junior high school students and find out the countermeasures.Through making questionnaires and interview outline,and according to the advice of teaching geography teachers,students' test results and classroom performance to determine the people with learning difficulties,the questionnaire was issued.At the same time,some students,teachers and parents were interviewed separately,and it was found that geography learning difficulties were mainly manifested in the lack of geographical thinking methods and learning methods.Methods:Lack of geographical learning motivation,poor geographical learning habits,insufficient geographical learning interest,non-conformity bet.ween learning and self-cognition,and weak geographical baseOn the basis of further analysis of the survey data and interview results,the main causes of geography learning difficulties for junior middle school students are as follows.The first is the lack of geography teachers,including uneven structure of geography teachers and heavy teaching tasks.Second,geography teachers have lower literacy,including geography teachers' professional literacy;geography teachers teaching ability is weak;geography teachers' psychological knowledge reserve is insufficient;geography teachers' related knowledge is weak.Third,parents lack of knowledge of geography,including insufficient attention to geography learning;parents neglect the management of their children's geography learning Fourth,the school does not attach importance to the subject of geography,including the appointment of geographyThe teachers are not enough;the teaching arrangement is not reasonable;the capital investment is less.Fifth,there is a conflict between students,parents and teachers.Based on the above reasons,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to solve the geography learning difficulties of junior high school students,including:cultivating students to establish correct geography learning methods and learning thinking;arousing students' interest and motivation in geography learning;improving geography teachers'professional literacy and teaching ability;strengthening the importance of geography subjects in schools;creating a scientific family education atmosphere;and focusing on the implementation of measures for students with different types of difficulties.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)the geography learning difficulties of junior high school students are manifested in many aspects;(2)the main reasons of geography learning difficulties of junior high school students are teachers,schools and families;(3)the strategies for solving geography learning difficulties of junior middle school students are put forward.The innovation of this paper is as follows:by studying the dynamics of geography students in Xiu Wu County,the basic situation,types and influencing factors of geography difficulties in junior high schools are perfected,and the situation of lack of comprehensive and in-depth research on these problems is improved.Combined with two main research methods,questionnaire survey and interview,in order to get a comprehensive understanding of the students with geographical learning difficulties,the causes of the students' learning difficulties are found out.At the same time,in the investigation,the students with different geographical learning difficulties are found to have different performances,and put forward that for different types of students with learning
