Inferior students of mathematics transformation which have increasingly aroused people’s widespread attention is an urgent problem of modern education and must be solved. Inferior students of junior middle school mathematics transformation is particularly important because this in relation to their high school and future study. The system and in-depth study of inferior students of mathematics by education workers have realistic significance and far-reaching influence both for society, school and family.This paper that refer to a large number of literature material analyzed the inferior students of mathematics comprehensively and reasonably based on the constructivism, the zone of proximal development (ZPD) and the new curriculum standards, and summarized the understanding and definition of the writer. The writer categorized the inferior students of mathematics through the diagnosis method of intelligence and non-intelligence which in junior high school students as the research objects. The corresponding strategies were put forward according to the characteristics of the inferior students of mathematics which make up for the shortage of the current strategy research. The corresponding cases of transformation and tracking of three students who have highlighting issues and typicality were verified the effectiveness of the conversion strategies.In this paper, research work summarized as follows:1. The transform problems of inferior students of mathematics and the research significance were put forward, and the definitions of inferior students and inferior students of mathematics were combined with the writer’s analysis and understanding which based on the standards of standards, developing and ranking.2. The writer select the junior middle school students as the research objects and classified as three types of inferior students of mathematics who are intellective, non-intellective and external impact types, based on the constructivism, the zone of proximal development (ZPD) and the new curriculum standards. And the various characteristics for inferior students of mathematics have carried on the detailed analysis and explanation.3. The corresponding transformation strategies were put forward combined with the causes and characteristics of inferior students of mathematics who are intellective, non-intellective and external impact types. And the one who selected from the objects of studies separately and has highlighting issues and typicality as the case study object was transformed and tracked using the corresponding transformation strategies and through the methods of investigation, interview, guide. The transformation of the whole case was recorded in detail, and the diagnosis results of research were analyzed at the same time. All over this has verified the effectiveness of the conversion strategies.4. The research results of case transform analyzed and illustrated, and the studies were summarized. Three teaching suggestions were put forward as follows:(1) Teachers should change teaching modes. (2) Teachers should do well in psychological counseling of inferior students of mathematics. (3) Teachers should adopt different ways of evaluation.
