A Study On Social Work Occupational Identity In Shaanxi Province

Since the reform and opening up, it has been more than thirty years, the rapid development of the economic society is facing a critical period of transition, appeared a lot of social problems, the social basis of the development of social work. But from the practical level, the majority of social workers’ occupation identity status is not ideal, many aspects is mainly manifested in the frequent flow of occupation, occupation identification rate is low, low work enthusiasm, which undoubtedly and national government initiated the current vigorously promote social work development contradiction, is not conducive to the development of social work occupation, construction is not conducive to the harmonious society of socialism. Thus, the research on the status quo of the professional identity of social work, will be of great advantage to the social work personnel and the development of social work occupation.According to the research needs of land, the full text is divided into five chapters, the first is the introduction, the paper writing purpose, research significance, related concepts and research methods were reviewed; the second chapter is the social identity theory, and from the theory of self identity, social identity three aspects with theoretical analysis; the third section conducts the research to the Shaanxi province social work occupation identity status and the main problems. The author of the survey, mainly from the three levels of government agencies, service object and professional personnel to proceed with the investigation, and that the Shaanxi province social work occupation identity mainly exist in the following five aspects: theoretical research and social practice, from social occupation role is not clear, occupation standard system has not been established, the development of civil society organizations, lack of the traditional administrative system fetter. On this basis, the author from the three aspects of social factors, personal factors, practical factors, the problems of social work occupation identity of interpretation; the fourth chapter is based on the above basis, the occupation identity of social work in Shaanxi province should make great efforts from the following five aspects: to enhance the social status, job occupation to strengthen the construction of social work theory, the norms of social work education, improve the social work occupation standard, the cultivation of professional social work agencies; the last chapter is the conclusion and discussion.
