In contemporary China, new generation of migrant workers who has become the main force of urbanization construction, flooding into the city with urbanization development opportunities, they have made a significant contribution for the new urbanization. The core of new urbanization is people’s urbanization, specifically speaking, is the new aged peasant workers’ citizen. Their love and marriage view will directly influence self-development and the process of new urbanization. As the younger generation, they are in a golden age of love and marriage, due to the long-term working outside, exposuring to modern urban multi-culture, great changes have taken place in their views of love and marriage, however, due to the city’s rejection of institutional and non-institutional, coupled with the influence of families and individuals, leading them in the city playing an awkward "fringe man" role in the city, which leading to multiple difficulties in their love and marriage view. It will directly affect family harmany and social stablity, if those problems can not get correctly guidance and prevention. Based on new urbanization, this paper taking L village in Henan province as an example, the use of empirical approaches research their love and marriage status of investigation. This paper analyzed the new aged peasant workers’ love and marrige view by using empirical research methods, through investigation and analysis about love and marrige view of the new aged peasant workers, revealing those existing problems in their love and marrige view, and thoroughly discuss the causes of problems from four aspects: goverment, society, family, individual, and putting forward some targeted proposals, guiding them to set up correct views of love and marriage, encouraging them to devote to the construction of new urbanization with positive and healthy attitude, and helping them to realize the dream of integrating into the city.The text studied new aged peasant workers’ view of love and marriage through questionnaire survey, individual interview and relative literature data. The text is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction. It mainly include research background, purposes and significance of the paper, the domestic and foreign review research and review, then clear the concept and the basic meaning of and theoretical perspectives, finally, the ideas and methods were introduced. The second part so summarized the present situation of the view of the new aged peasant workers from four aspects:love, spouse selection, marriage, gender concept. We regarded the features of their marriage to be:the attitude of love and marrige is more sincerely, the autonomy of love and marrige is stronger, paying attention to marriage, the pursuit of gender equality, gender differences on the view of love and marriage. The third part is problems and reasons. New aged peasant workers living in the city for a long time, some positive changes have taken place in their views of love and marriage, but under the influence of city rejection and traditional view, the problems in the view of love and marriage about new aged peasant workers were more seriously, so this part summarized problems and causes about the new aged peasant workers’love and marriage view. The fourth part is proposals and countermeasures. Government, society, family, individual should work together to solve the problems in love and marriage view, so guiding them to set up positive and healthy love and marriage view. The fifth part is epilogue, this part will summary the whole thesis and evaluated the study objectively. The paper enriched studies about the new aged peasant workers’ love and marriage view, but it also has its drawbacks. This paper studies on the lacking of comparison with urban youth, which is the future research direction.
