Teaching method reflected with teaching contents is the most important role in classroom teaching, and visually it can be seen as the fragile bridge lying between learning and teaching. Under the background of new curriculum reform, with the political lesson in traditional thought teaching method reexamined, it is well-known that the key point in traditional political study is mechanical memory about theoretical knowledge and morality, without students’ emotional needs and subjective initiative. The new curriculum reform, which aims at breaking the bondage of the traditional education mode, focuses on promoting the human-oriented education concept, outstanding student’s subjectivity in the learning process and cultivating students’ cooperation inquiry ability and innovation ability, and the good result is a comprehensive development for students in the process of study. The new curriculum reform is the reform of the class study, and class study reform emphasis on the transformation of the teachers’ role. Therefor the highlights of transition procedures are the exploration of subject teaching way and the method which can be suitable for the knowledge economy era and the contemporary students, so that the students give full play to students’ active learning spirit. As a kind of instructional theory, example teaching method, which can cultivate students the ability of stand-alone cognition, independent judgment, independent thinking and active learning, has two aspects simultaneously:one is teaching contents with essential, fundamentality and example for teachers, the other is inspiring, guiding and helping for students. In conclusion, example teaching mode and the new curriculum reform are keeping the internal consistency.In this paper, based on example teaching’s background, basic conception, and aims and demands, it tells the research status of example teaching and its significance, and simultaneously focuses on the origin, development and situation of ideological and political class. It expounds the necessity of example teaching in middle school ideological and political class, analyzes the basic teaching strategies and implement the paradigm teaching basic process, emphatically discussing the example teaching combined with questioning-researching-guiding-practicing mode in middle school ideological and political class. Designing the detail procedures, such as "the teacher presents examples to help students find problems ", "exploration around questions", "students choose examples to solve the problems", "teacher’s guidance to inquiry, disambiguate, and practice", are used to help students learning from the beginning of the problem, mainly solve the problem. Around the problem of "example teaching", through the guidance of teachers, the students can achieve mastery through a comprehensive study of the subject. Furthermore, by doing more practices, from abstract to concrete, from the understanding to the application, with respecting students’subject consciousness, example teaching can improve the efficiency of classroom teaching.Final conclusion, by effect test of implementing example teaching and structure analysis, indicates that example teaching combined with questioning-researching-guiding-practicing mode gets remarkable achievement with its application in ideological and political class. It can improve students’ knowledge structure and cognitive method, and overcome the difficulties in a wide range of political knowledge study. Seen the development of the objective laws of the economy, politics, philosophy, and culture, students can dialectical understand from different angles the past and the future. On the present, the nation’s historical sense of mission and social responsibility, for the students, can stimulate the independent inquiry learning interest, and improve teaching efficiency. At the same time it also can further cultivate patriotic emotion, and make a promotion in forming world view, sense of worth and philosophy.
