Development of science and science education is almost simultaneously. With the changes in social progress and education, people have recognized the important role of science and technology for human development, science education has been from the traditional to the modern.This paper starting from the connotation of preschool science education, through the analysis of the characteristics of the preschool children’s learning, further illustrates the kindergarten science education activities should be initiated and practice the exploring approach science education, focusing on children’s ability to explore and develop. Children have a natural curiosity and enthusiasm to explore, strengthen the ability of young children to explore, children through personal experience and initiative to explore, to get around the world and the relationship between the material and the experience, to lay the foundation for the growth and development of young children.This study is based on three main areas of Xi’an kindergarten, use of literature, questionnaire, interview and observation, investigat and analysis of the current situation of ability of inquiry. And then summarize the causes of the problem and further proposed countermeasures.The survey found that kindergarten is not enough emphasis on science education; Preschool teachers to understand the extent of explore ability and relevant theory is still not deep enough, and the lack of professional training; Teachers for their role is less clear, based on these issues, from kindergarten, kindergarten teachers, children three aspects of attribution.Finally, this study presents the following educational suggestions:Kindergarten should pay attention to explore the ability, strengthen professional competence training for teachers; preschool teachers should be updated educational philosophy, to improve their teaching skills; for children provide a rich and meaningful operating materials, work together to build the learning environment of inquiry.
