Humanistic learning theory in the 20th century important curriculum theories in western countries, it has broken the rigid concept of study after the second revolution of science and technology, in view of teachers and students view, teaching view, curriculum and evaluation etc.Put forward the original opinion. Take the student as the main body, advocate through meaningful study to realize students’ self-worth is one of the important concept of humanism. In addition, the fine arts discipline has its particularity, as a humanistic discipline, the course content covers all aspects of social life, is the student to carry on the good way of aesthetic education, moral education and intellectual education, thus introducing humanism middle school fine arts teaching has its feasibility and necessity. In this paper, on the basis of the comprehensive interpretation of humanistic learning theory, actively explore the effective method to improve middle school fine arts teaching, and will try to in the practice of teaching as a case, in order to inspire to the fine arts education workers.This article main four parts, the first part summarizes the humanism learning theory, including the background of the humanistic learning theory, the representative figure, emphatically summarized the humanistic learning theory teachers and students view, teaching view, curriculum and evaluation view.The second part summarizes the present situation and problems of the current art teaching, and using the method of questionnaire and interview to analyze the causes of the problem.Third part using the related view of humanistic learning theory, explores the concept of teachers, teaching objectives, teaching methods, curriculum resources, teachers and evaluation aspects to solve and improve middle school fine arts teaching, put forward their own opinions. The fourth division lists the author use in the education practice of humanistic teaching success story.
