The high normal school fine art & music academy teaching has achieved enormous accomplishment after it has been carried out fifty years ago and reformed for several times. Optimize the style and method of the fine art's education is the foundation for culture development. From the year of 2001, to foster composite high normal school fine art's students has become the key issue of the project of art education reform experiment of national ministry of education, which aims to cultivate the composite fine art students qualified to teach junior& senior school art courses in small & media cities,countryside and underdeveloped areas.On the basis of the present process of cultivation experiment and teaching effect this thesis found that: the training can't display the active effect of the reform if it only faces the underdeveloped areas in countryside. In order to promote the further development of fine music arts major and subsidiary, this study aims to solve the problem that the art teachers in junior and primary schools are in demand and the art quality of the whole nation need to be improved. The study lays emphasis on the exploration of the direction of course design.First of all ,the study analyzes the existing theory of the mode of recruiting new students, the direction of running a school and train objectives,and points out that the research of Course Set-up is the key to further investigation in educational reform of fine music arts major and subsidiary. Secondly , this study makes an empirical analysis of fine music arts major and subsidiary course setup by means of classifying the existing materials of fine music arts major and subsidiary and using the international relevant example about comprehensive art studied for reference. It is found that: On one hand, the results of questionnaire among the student who are in the fine music arts major and subsidiary major suggest that we should extend this major to a wider range in urban and rural areas; On the other hand, through the quantitative...
