Geography textbook is a kind of Information materials.It is mainly used to help students achieve learning objectives under the guidance of their teachers.It is can be said that geography textbook is teachers’reference material of education,it also is the student learning materials.Geography textbook is the agency between the teaching and the learning.It is served for conveying and exchanging learning information facilitating communication.Visible geography textbook play an important role in geography teaching.Modern geography curriculum concept that geography teaching is not only to make the students master the necessary knowledge and skills,but also to enable students to develop a good habit of willing to explore and think.it should cultivate their geographical learning ability,exploring ability, scientific literacy of geography and the humanities spirit.So geography teaching should take the textbook as a teaching case or materials rather than content.Teachers can choice and process the content of the geography textbook according to their own characteristics and students.Only in this way can we ensure that the teacher and the student as the main body status of interaction.Teaching and learning can combine.Analysis of the teaching material is a necessary condition for teachers’teaching design.The foundation and the precondition for a good lesson is the textbook analysis and disposal.Analysis of the teaching material is a hot topic of Geography Education Research.There are many research findings.But there is less research on geographic required two.In addition the author taught it during the internship.So the author choice to analysis the geography Ⅱ.The title of this paper is "Analysis and teaching suggestion of geography textbook two".The main purpose of the study has two aspects.The one is grasp the teaching content of geography textbook two through analysis the person teaches printing plate geographical. I hope this thesis can provide insight and vision for the teacher who is preparing lessons or doing teaching material analyses.The another is investigate the teaching situation of the geography textbook Ⅱ.And put forward suggestions to solve the above problems.To provide convenience for the geography teaching and textbook analysis.This paper is mainly to solve two problems. Analysis the geography textbook and put forward some suggestions according to the survey. The first problem based on the extensive reference of previous research,analysis the PEP high school geography textbook from the macro and micro two aspects.The macro aspect analysis the teaching background,the related disciplines,and the relationship with the life. The micro aspect analysis the knowledge structure of each unit,education structure and representation structure. The second problem is investigation for student and teachers.For student we want to know their study using questionnaire and for teachers we want to use talking to know their teaching situation.Finally,combined with the results of the analysis of the textbook and investigation results,put forward teaching suggestions for teachers and students’ learning suggestions. Because teaching is the result of the analysis of the textbook.In the last chapter,there is a teaching design about agriculture location.The problems finding in the investigation is:For students, Some students are not interested in learning;the external motivation of learning is stronger than internal motivation;the degree of love for each part of the textbook is different.;the case, reading, and the image attracted the attention of most students;students can understand the important role of compulsory two,but the teacher still needs to combine the geography in the life and the teaching to stimulate student’s study interest;some of the students’ learning habits and strategies are wrong, resulting in the poor learning effect.For teachers, in the case of the material selection, the teacher did not combine different materials; in the case of teaching material analysis, most teachers pay much attention to the micro analysis and neglect the macro analysis.;in the course of teaching, there are some problems:the single teaching method, not closely linked with life, and the neglect of the use of the information technology in the teaching.Improvement suggestion are as follows:(1)For teachers,they must reform the educational thought,improve teaching method,improve educational technology and so on.(2)For students,they should change their learning style,and are good at use learning strategies,timely review,improve learning effect.
