The Analysis And Teaching Suggestions Of "Water On The Earth" In Senior Textbook "Geography One" Published By People's Education Press

The chapter of “Water on the Earth”in the textbook of “The Geography 1” published by People's Education Press has got a great change, which requires teachers keep up with the changes closely and analyse the textbook more deeply. The thesis aims at analysing the chapter of “Water on the Earth” in the textbook of “The Geography 1” to give suggestions for teaching and supply references for other chapter's analysis by using the bibliographic analysing and interviewing method.The thesis is composed of five chapters. The first chapter expounds an introduction of proposing questions? an explaination of the purpose and significance of the research ? a brief introduction of researching method ? as well as the conceptions and background of the research. The second chapter mainly expounds Systematic theory and Humanism Studying Theory applied in the thesis. The third chapter is the main part of the thesis, which has a deep analysis of the geography textbook from both entire and partial point. The entire analysis includs the background? the external and internal relations. The partial analysis mainly analyses the position and function of the textbook ? the requirements and explaination of curriculum standards ? the structure analysis of the chapter and the analysis of“Three –dimensional Object” ? as well as the key and difficult points of the chapter.The forth chapter supplies suggestions from the point of the arrangement of the hour,teaching methods and studying. The fifth part is the conclusion, which explains the method used for analysing the chapter of “Water on the Earth”in the textbook of “The Geography 1” published by People's Education Press from five aspects can also beused for analysing other chapters of the textbook.
