A Study Of The Historical Materials In The History Textbooks Of Middle Schools

The historical materials in history textbooks is an important resource for teachers’ teaching, however our current history textbooks for middle and high school made many mistakes. So this paper attempts to use the theory and knowledge of Education Science and Classical Philology to study historical materials of Jing Bu which is cited by those history textbooks. There are four editions of history textbooks for high school and five kinds of history textbooks for middle school. In this paper, I check these historical materials of Jing Bu with the original, trying to summarize the existing problems and propose solutions.Part one is a brief introduction of Jing Bu, includes the evolvement of historical materials of Jing Bu, it’s classification and important books, for example Shi San Jing.Part two is the current situation of the use of historical materials about the Part of Jing Bu in history textbooks. From the category and using occasions analyzed respectively, and Point out the shortcomings.Part three is the mistake use in history textbooks about historical materials of Jing Bu, which is the important part in this paper. Through the way of arrangement of the historical materials about the Part of Jing Bu which is cited by high and middle school history textbooks, to analyze and summarize the problems of high and middle school textbooks in the historical materials selection. Including use classical and Vernacular style of writing at the same time, the lack of historical materials on the number of choices, and interpret out of context, error punctuation, historical materials is too difficult, the Problem of norms of historical materials reference and so on.Part four giving the relevant solutions for the issues that the high and middle school textbooks made in historical materials selection quote. For example quote more historical materials of Jing Bu, cite historical materials must up to standard and correct, enhance teachers’ professional quality and so on.The last is the concluding remarks. The historical materials of Jing Bu and their translation are attached to the paper in order to facilitate the teachers’ reference.
