With the rise of the teaching for historical materials in recent years,teachers are paying more and more attention to the use of historical materials in the teaching of history.Written historical materials have become the most commonly used type of historical materials because of their large number,rich content and easy presentation.In the vast amount of historical materials,the historical materials in textbooks are carefully selected and arranged by the editors,so teachers’ "teaching" and students’ "learning" are both have important significance.The Senior High School History Textbook Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(I),organized and compiled by the Ministry of Education,thoroughly implements the requirements for the cultivation of students’ core literacy in the History Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition).The original text presents the knowledge system of the rich textbooks with various types of written historical materials.This study takes the written historical materials in Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(I)as the research object,and summarizes the application value of the written historical materials in the textbook into four aspects: providing history teaching resources,increasing students’ accumulation of history knowledge,improving students’ interest in history learning,and adapting to the trend of college entrance examination proposition.This study is based on literature research method to look up the relevant research results of textbooks and historical materials widely,and establish questionnaire from them.In order to collect real and accurate questionnaire survey data,the questionnaire was sent to the senior high school students in S Middle School of Shandong Province in which were using this version of the textbook.At the same time,the teachers of senior high school and senior high school who had taught this version of the textbook were interviewed,and then the obtained data were investigated and analyzed.Through the analysis of the results from this survey,it’s found that there are the following problems in the process of using the written historical materials between teachers and students in textbooks: students mainly pay less attention to the written historical materials in textbooks,classical Chinese historical materials are tough to read,lack of learning autonomy;On the part of teachers,they mainly use less written historical materials in textbooks,ignore the core literacy training function of written historical materials in textbooks,and need to improve their professional ability.In view of the above problems,in order to promote the use of literary historical materials in textbooks in teachers and students,this study puts forward targeted strategies from two aspects of students and teachers.Students should attach importance to the historical materials in textbooks,improve their reading ability and enhance their learning enthusiasm.Teachers should optimize the use of written historical materials in textbooks,combine the use of written historical materials with the cultivation of students’ core literacy,to improve teachers’ historical literacy and professional competence.
