In today’s era of knowledge economy, in order to adapt to the demand of The Times, also sweeping reform the traditional education system in our country. Quality education has been a core part of education system reform in our country, and the music teaching to improve students’ literacy and comprehensive quality more have a crucial role. Since 2005, the Shanyang district county within the scope of ordinary senior middle school are in strict accordance with the \"ordinary high school new music course standard\" the teaching idea of music classroom teaching. After nearly 10 years of teaching practice, the county most of the ordinary high school music teaching faculty and infrastructure are increased, but overall, still needs further improvement. This article hope from the Shanyang district ordinary high school music teaching reform practice, summed up the specific practice results and related experience, and think about how to further extend the concept of new curriculum reform and promotion. Specific investigation method is as follows:In this paper the Shanyang district 3 high school teachers and students as the research object of the present study of 2700 students, respectively six music teachers. Then, according to the national ministry of education issued by the relevant rules and regulations, the establishment the Shanyang district ordinary high school music education present situation of the former student questionnaire the Shangyang district ordinary high school music teacher education present situation investigation questionnaire. Late recovery of 2400 valid questionnaires and by software for data processing, according to the research situation, the author of and analysis summarizes the Shanyang district ordinary senior middle school music teaching common problems and related causes. As follows:Shanyang district ordinary senior middle schools, in general, basically have started music curriculum, but the curriculum is not much; New curriculum standard in the region did not get a wide range of implementation; Basic is relatively falling behind music teaching materials; The region of the modern education technology to improve; Compared to behave to classroom learning, students prefer music activities; The region still need to improve the overall music literacy. Combining with the actual survey results shows the Shanyang district of ordinary high school music education problems and causes, and put forward corresponding countermeasures as follows:from the Angle of teachers, the region’s universities music teacher continue to study, study music to raise their professional quality and comprehensive quality; Continue to create teaching, improve class teaching efficiency; To develop extracurricular music activities. From the school’s point of view, the right attitude towards the students’ differences, many second classroom teaching; At the same time, still need to improve the teachers teaching evaluation system, improving music teachers’、teaching enthusiasm; Support music teachers further education study and organization of modern multimedia technology training.By himself in the Shanyang district teaching in actual research, I hope the shanyang district of ordinary high school music education has improved.
