According to the point of view of Epstein, who is the director of the NNPS research center in American Hopkins University, home-school cooperation is an overlapping effect, which is used to educated children by the family, school and community. Studies found that, home-school cooperation is the most effective way of solving the left-behind children education problems and optimizing the education resources of boarding schools. And successful home-school cooperation is important for the physical and mental health development of left-behind children.Since the mid-20 th century, home-school cooperation has been a worldwide research topic, and developed countries of the Europe, America, Japan and other developed countries all show a high degree of concern for it. In China’s Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan area, the concept, mode, organization, system of the home-school cooperation is relatively mature, but in inland, especially in some rural areas, the home-school cooperation is still at the primary stage in many aspects. This paper is based on the healthy growth of the left-behind children and long-term development of boarding school, under the guidance of the social capital theory and the theory of overlapping spheres of influence, and uses research methods of literature, questionnaire survey and interview method. It takes a standardized boarding primary school, which is in Luquan County of Yunnan Province as an eXample, discusses the present situation and problems of cooperation in rural boarding primary school, and gives siX countermeasures and suggestions.
