Based on the background of urbanization,this paper chooses a rural boarding primary school as a case study to research the effectiveness of home-school cooperation.This thesis consists of five parts:The content of the introduction includes research background,literature review,research purposes,research significance and research methods.The first part: This part expounds the concept,function and theoretical basis of home-school cooperation.The functions of home school cooperation include: educational function,communication function,complementary function and management function.The theoretical basis includes: social capital theory,overlap impact theory,responsibility decentralization theory and embedded influence theory.The second part: This part elaborates the design of the case investigation in L boarding primary school.The content of investigation design mainly includes: case introduction,investigation object,investigation method,investigation tool design and so on.The third Part: Through questionnaires and interviews to show the current situation and problems of home-school cooperation in rural boarding primary schools.The main problems are as follows: network communication is the main mode of cooperation,lacking hierarchy;the content of cooperation is serious simplification;practice lags behind consciousness and shows discrete cooperation;family and school confront each other,and the effect of cooperation is low;family and school confront each other and form one-way cooperation;formalization of organizational structure;lack of evaluation mechanism of home-school cooperation;low understanding of relevant provisions between home and school.The fourth part: This part from three aspects to explore and analyze the reasons for the problems of home-school cooperation in rural boarding primary school that the adjustment of rural school layout,the changes of rural family structure and the weak foundation of home-school cooperation The main reasons include: the distance between home and school hinders the development of home-school activities;the lack of communication between boarding students and their parents;finding no parents when cooperating with the left-behind families;the lack of cooperation ability of the inter-generational family guardians;the lack of parents' sense of cooperation,shirking the responsibility of education;parents' education affects the quality of cooperation;School administrators do not attach importance to neglecting cooperation;teacher quality reduces the quality and level of cooperation;related systems and mechanisms are incomplete to make cooperation in a mere formality;poor experience reduces the willingness of both sides to cooperate;poor cooperation results reduce the motivation for cooperation.The fifth part: Based on the causes of the problem of home-school cooperation in rural boarding primary schools,the paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the effectiveness of home-school cooperation from the government,schools and families.These suggestions mainly include: Strengthen the legislative guarantee;Encourage the community to participate in home-school cooperation;Conduct home-school cooperation training for cooperation subjects;Organize parent education;Improve the trinity of home-school cooperation platform;Innovate the form of home visits;Set up a parent committee;Improve home-school cooperation evaluation mechanism;Establishment of self-governing organizations;Care for children;Participation in parent volunteers;Visit to schools by parents regularly;Grandparents participate in family education actively and correctly.
