| Young PE Teachers are a vital force and the future for sustainable development of school sports. Faced with the new challenges and new tasks for the development of school sports, attention to youth PE teachers and caring for their healthy growth are particularly important, and it is also a very important strategic work. So, for the young PE teacher this particular intelligentsia, how their living and working condition are like?In this study, literature reviews, questionnaires, mathematical statistics and other research methods are implemented in this essay to study issues about the PE teachers who are 20-24 year old in the universities in Henan Province. These issues include work, life, teaching, research, ideological trends, public research, injustice, impact of the Internet, academic and moral problems. Problems can be found through analysis,and the conclusions and solutions to the problems will be presented.Chapter 1 is the introduction of the essay, which mainly aims to describe the evidence and significance of research and current research reviews; Chapter 2 is about the relevant concepts and research methods; Chapter 3 is about young PE teachers` research career. This chapter also acts as a core part of this paper. Chapter 4is the conclusion and suggestion of the essay.Conclusions are as follows:(1) The demographic characteristic of the PE teachers in Henan Province shows that the proportion of young PE teachers between men and women is close to 3: 1,which means the gender is imbalance. The proportion working of experience less than5 years of the PE teachers is 72.83% due to their low age. Most of them have few projects, and 51% are teaching assistant. They usually marry late, and 77% of them are unmarried. The way for the universities to employ PE teachers has been changed due to employ methods and the employment relations between them, and become more diversified and flexible.(2) Young PE Teachers, a group with high-pressure in universities, are faced with family income, teaching task, research task, career promotion and so on; wages arethe main source of their income, and there are NEET phenomenon. Their work shows "contradictory and unity" state. Most of them are not really satisfied with their work,and nearly half of the teachers do not want to be teachers; however, stable, good reputation of being a teacher is the main reason to attract them. They have a negative attitude to the justice of the society, but they also showed a strong sense of responsibility and sense of justice at the same time. This group showed less storage of books, and there is "storage but not read" phenomenon. And their life are affected by network gradually.(3) Young PE teachers lack of effective communication with students; job promotion evaluation research tendency leads to lack of preparation time for class and enthusiastic for teaching, which has some negative effects on the teaching quality.In terms of teaching, most universities tend to focus on research instead of teaching. Research achievements are regarded as the main factor if a young physical teacher in Henan province seeks job promotion or tenure position. This phenomenon affects the quality of teaching.(4) The research status of the PE teachers is not that optimistic, because of the deviation of their knowledge and research orientation, and making their presence greatly restricted in writing papers, research topics, project reporting and other organizations. And the current research environment in universities is so impulsive,and the academic misconduct is serious, but there is a certain degree of sympathy, and the punishment is not enough.(5) Female PE teachers have both social and family roles. The contradictions between the two roles cause pressure on them. Therefore, their physical and mental health, quality of life and their development are affected. Specifically, they are not satisfied with their life and they marry late. |
