Since the end of the 20 th century,countries all over the world are strengthening the importance and quality of preschool education. They had many researches about various factors affecting the quality of preschool education and found that preschool education policy can safeguard the development of preschool education in the macroscopic level. On this basis, the British government in the response of the current age of pursuit for quality of preschool education.At the same time, it worked with theory-workers and practical-workers in preschool education area, and established many preschool education quality policies from the specific factors affecting preschool education quality improvement, trying to combine the macroscopic factors and microcosmic factors jointly for promoting the preschool education quality. And in the past decade of UK, the preschool education quality has improved significantly,which rightly highlights the preschool education policy improve the significance of the quality of the preschool education.At present, the researches about the recent decade preschool education policies in UK are not enough.This paper mainly adopts literature research, comparative research to analysis the current major preschool education policy to safeguard and promote the quality of the preschool education. Hope to get some useful advice for the present preschool education policy formulation and perfection, the improvement of the quality of preschool education and significance of enlightenment in our country.The full text main content includes: the first chapter is the introduction part.It mainly discuss the current world pays attention to the quality of preschool education,and those preschool education policies have significance to the important guarantee the quality of preschool education, and card most of the domestic and foreign related researches, as well as the definition of the key words and so on.At understanding the basis of the key factors influencing quality of preschool education.This research put the improvement of quality in British preschool education curriculum policy, preschool teachers’ education policy and management of preschool education policy as the whole analysis framework for the quality of preschool education policy, which can make their promotion and guarantee the quality of preschool education in Britain. In the second chapter focus on the a series of preschool education quality policies enacted nearly 10 years by UK,and briefly described the domestic background and international background.They are the response to the times and the necessity of quality in preschool education policy formulation.From the third chapter to the fifth chapter,which mainly analyses the concrete contents of improving the quality of preschool education curriculum policies, the preschool education teachers policies and the preschool education management policies.Which is including the policies formulated and promulgated background, main content, and their effects on Britain’s role in promoting quality of preschool education.In the sixth chapter is summarizing the characters of those policies which show the aspects of quality improvement, and combining with the present preschool education policy in China. Namely, from the time vertically, the preschool education policy in China has not yet promulgate an independent of the preschool education law, the preschool education policy is still in its infancy;From the content point of view horizontally, the content of in the existed preschool education policy is still not perfect,etc. Finally,those polices of UK can deliver some good points and enlightenment to the current preschool education quality policy in China.
